Becker’s Advancement Office Collaborates with RealView TV to Create Virtual Tour of the College
WORCESTER, MA-Over the past several months, the Becker College Office of Institutional Advancement has collaborated with the producers at RealView TV to create a virtual tour of the College. The virtual tour was filmed on both campuses (Leicester and Worcester). Becker’s Advancement Office associates created the video to help potential students become more familiar with Becker’s two unique campuses. Keeping potential students—graduating high school seniors—in mind, the Advancement Office associates and RealView TV featured only current Becker students.
Specific students were selected to be featured in the virtual tour; each one chosen represented a major area of study at the College. Students’ area of study ranged from business administration with a concentration in sport management to nursing, equine studies, exercise science, and game design/programming. Each student was unscripted and gave honest answers to simple questions, such as: “How would you explain extracurricular activities at the College?”
The film crew from RealView TV was escorted around both campuses to film the academic buildings, dining halls, residence halls, athletic facilities, and other such amenities at the College. The students who were selected were a major component to this project; without their help, this entire tour would have been impossible to create. A special thanks goes out to the students who participated in the virtual tour of the College, and on behalf of Becker College, a special thanks goes out to the folks at RealView TV for all of their help and guidance.
