Princeton Review Ranks Becker Among Best Colleges

In 2010, the ‘Review’ ranked Becker College’s Game Design program #1 in the New England area and #4 in the United States. Becker stayed on that list for 2011. This year, Becker was ranked #10 for undergraduate schools offering video game design. The gaming side of Becker has been widely noted by The Princeton Review in recent years. Now, the whole college will be further recognized in the Princeton Review’s upcoming publication.

Becker College will be listed in The Princeton Review guidebook as one of the best colleges in the country. Becker was selected from over 2,000 colleges and universities by The Princeton Review for inclusion in an annual publication that many secondary students and their families utilize for college planning.

At least 400 Becker students participated in the survey to rank the college. Around 15% of four-year colleges in the country will be in this summer’s guidebook. Those selected are the most highly suggested for undergraduates. In recent years, The Princeton Review has helped more than 2 million students prepare for college and successful careers.

Senior Vice President and Publisher, Robert Franek, of The Princeton Review said their selected colleges “must have high regard for their academic programs.” The Review also greatly considers the opinions of students, faculty/staff, and parents.

The Princeton Review’s “The Best 377 Colleges, 2013 Edition” will feature a two-page profile on Becker College. It will be published on August 21, 2012.
